Towards the end of his May 1 remarks in conservative Waukesha County, former President Donald J. Trump referenced a recent Emerson College poll that shows he is up five points over President Joe Biden in Wisconsin.
But recent positive numbers for President Trump come after his lead in the closely watched swing state softened during April.
One recent survey from Fox News that included Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. as a possibility even saw President Biden besting his predecessor in the Oval Office by two points.
May 1 in Wisconsin saw President Trump contrast “Bidenomics” with “MAGAnomics,” an increasing focus of his speeches.
It’s expected from him in Michigan, another May 1 destination for the Trump campaign….
