GOP Mega Donors Bankrolling Ads Against Rep. Barry Moore in Alabama GOP Race by Austin Alonzo – US Politics News

A group financed by conservative mega-donors Ken Griffin and Warren Stephens is paying for attack ads against Rep. Barry Moore (R-Ala.) ahead of the Super Tuesday primary election when he will oppose fellow Rep. Jerry Carl (R-Ala.).
The two incumbent congressmen will face off in a race that will effectively end one of their terms in office.
Mr. Carl, representing Alabama’s 1st Congressional District, and Mr. Moore, who represents Alabama’s 2nd Congressional District, are now both in a redrawn 1st district encompassing Mobile, Alabama, and all of the Yellowhammer State’s Gulf Coast.
